Macbook Air M1 Unbox & Setup - My First MAC
Video was recorded on July 3rd, 2021 In this video, I unbox the Macbook M1 Air, set it up and play around on it. Regarding the AdBlock struggle section, I ended up purchasing a lifetime license for 1Blocker. You can enable it for family sharing so everyone in your family can have access to it via that single one time payment. Overall, for a first attempt at using a Mac it wasn't great or intuitive at all. I like it now because I treated it as a chromebook for a year. But, it really took a long time to grow on me. If i didn't have an absolute love for hardware. I definitely would not have picked up a ARM Macbook to try out. The battery life is fantastic. As of 11/2023, I currently main a 16" M1 Pro as a daily laptop. I love it. For now, I will stick with Intel x Nvidia desktops and Apple laptops. That's the best of both worlds. I don't need Apple ARM efficiency for a desktop and I absolutely do not need and intel x nvidia laptop with 5 hours of battery life as a laptop on the go ?
