Overnight Bread In Frying Pan | Fresh Bread in the morning
How to make soft and fluffy bread, prepare at night and bake in the morning. Here's what you'll need: 1 cup milk (250ml) 1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk 3 tbsp sugar (45g) 1 tsp instant yeast (3g) 3+¼ cups bread flour (400g) 3/4 tsp salt (4g) 2 tbsp oil (30ml) -some milk for brushing (before baking) -some melted butter for brushing (after baking) 1. In a large bowl, mix together milk, eggs, sugar and yeast. 2. Add bread flour and salt. Mix until incorporated. 3. Add oil and knead until smooth. Coat dough with oil and place in a bowl. Cover for 40 minutes. 4. Transfer dough to a floured counter. Divide into 12 equal pieces. Smooth into a ball. 5. Grease and line an oven-safe 10 inch frying pan. Place dough balls as shown in the video. 6. Cover and place in the fridge for 8 to 10 hours or overnight. If baking the same day, just proof it in room temperature for 1 hour and bake right away. 7. The next day, take out chilled dough and remove lid. Preheat oven at 190C/375F for 15 minutes. I used fan forced convection oven. 8. Brush with milk. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden on lower rack. 9. Brush with melted butter, preferably salted :) 10. Serve and enjoy these beautiful fresh, hot and buttery bread in the morning! 11.
