Need for Speed: SHIFT is a racing game by EA from 2009 that deviates from the NFS series' somewhat arcade game style and goes for a much more closed circuit racing oriented racing style. It has good physics with great playability and is easy to pick up and learn after a few races using a wheel, gamepad or even a keyboard. The game focuses itself on the player's skill level and driving style very heavily, offering either clean or aggressive driving points based on the actions and driving style of the player during a race. The player progresses by doing a series of races often ending with facing a skilled rival in the final race of each series. There are a myriad of 70+ licensed cars to choose from, with a few more from DLCs as well. There are also a bunch of famous tracks to race on as well, such as SPA, Brands Hatch, Autopolis, Ebisu, Nurburgring, etc. Every track gives it's own challenge and skill level to the player. I like a lot of things about this game, particularly it's AI skill levels, which aren't impossibly hard or downright super easy; it's perfectly in the middle so you feel an actual challenge doing the races even against the AI. Online mode and support unfortunately is dead for this game. PC requirements for this game is very minimal, being able to run even on Core 2 Duo/AMD Athlon x2 Processors with 256mb of graphics memory, with a final disk size of 6GB only. The game itself looks really stunning and very graphically impressive for it's age in ultra graphics settings. Overall, I would highly recommend giving this game a try if you are a fan of simulation yet arcade styled closed circuit racing. ______________________________________ Minimum System Requirements: Intel Core 2 Duo/AMD Athlon x2 or faster 256mb Graphics card with Pixel Shader 3.0 support Minimum 6gb HDD space available 1gb of RAM at least with 1.5gb preffered DirectX 9.0 compatible system My PC Specs: Intel Xeon E5 1620 v3 @ 3.50Ghz 16GB 1066Mhz DDR4 RAM 256GB SSD 1TB HDD EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SSC 4GB _______________________________________ Music used in this video: Intro Music: Biscuit by Lukrembo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtZ2m2Zm3vY&ab_channel=LuKremBo Outro Music: Rose by Lukrembo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIhyti2Qa74&ab_channel=LuKremBo _______________________________________ This video is exclusively for educational purposes and is all done in fair use.
