Ferrari's 7-litre V12 one-off 712 Can-Am car blasts Goodwood
In 1971 Ferrari decided to go Can-Am racing, as Porsche, McLaren and Lola had already done. They took the Group 5 512M and modified it, enlarging the V12 engine to seven litres and removing the roof, to create the 670hp 712.
