Battlefield 2042 - SEASON 04 HIGH SETTINGS | i5 8400 + GTX 1080 + 16GB RAM

Battlefield 2042 SEASON 04 gameplay tested on GTX 1080 with i5 8400. Basically, the game has been taking up 100% CPU usage while playing on any resolution, i.e. 1920x1080 or 2160x1440. I am pretty sure that my CPU should not be bottlenecking while playing on 1440p resolution. After looking around on the internet I came across a solution in which we create a configuration file in the game installation directory and define the Processor count. So the process is as follows: 1 - Create a new file with an extension .CFG and save it with a name User. 2 - Put this content into the file. Thread.ProcessorCount 4 Thread.MaxProcessorCount 4 Thread.MinProcessorCount 0 You can define the processor count based on your available threads. For example if you CPU has 8 cores and 16 threads. Then 16/2 = 8. Put this 8 as your processor count. 3 - Save the file where the game is installed and run the game through the .EXE. (BF2042.EXE) Let me know if you wish me to create a video for it. I will do so as required. System Specs: Processor: i5 8400 GPU: Gigabyte G1 GTX 1080 RAM: 16 GB (8x2) MB: Z370m D3H Gameplay was recorded using Nvidia shadow play and the game statistics was captured using MSI afterburner. Game settings are set to default HIGH on 1920x1080 resolution. Vsync is off.
