“SOLOAROUNDWORLD" 12/10/2016 CHANNEL DATA: 10,691,370+ MILLION VIEWS ! 12,477,590+ MILLION MINUTES WATCHED ! 14,201+ THOUSAND SUBSCRIBERS ! https://www.youtube.com/user/generationspolicy COPYRIGHT 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 HELD BY PAUL HODGE, CREATOR ABOUT PAUL: http://genpolicy.com/about/paul-hodge Paul Hodge’s HD video chronicles the intermission time between the first (Unidos de Bangu”) and second (”Em Cima da Hora”) samba schools’ performances on the Friday, February 13, 2015, the first night of the Rio Carnival 2015 Samba School Parade Competitions in Rio’s Sambadromo. Between acts, generally, there is about a twenty minute period where the audience can socialize, get food/drink and go to the privy. Paul’s HD coverage shows the “doings” of the audience, the parade competition judges having a “slight difference of opinion” and samba school parade performers getting into their costumes for their upcoming performance. This HD video is a chapter in Paul Hodge’s HD video book "Rio Carnival 2015" and is also part of the book’s series “Rio Carnival Reality”. For the first time on YouTube, Paul Hodge will be presenting in wonderful HD the complete performances of all 27 samba schools who performed in Rio Carnival’s showcase event, the four-night Rio Carnival Samba School Parade Competitions. For the first two nights (February 13 & 14, 2015) of the competitions, 15 Rio Second League Samba Schools competed. The winner of these two-nights of competitions was promoted to the First League of Rio Samba Schools and permitted to compete at the Rio Carnival 2016 for the Rio Carnival Championship. The last two nights of the Rio Carnival 2015 competitions were the showcase events with Rio’s 12 best First League Samba Schools competing for the Rio Carnival 2015 Samba School Parade Championship. Paul's coverage of the 27 Rio Samba School Performances is incredibly unique to YouTube and the media because: 1) This year, because of budget constraints, there was no complete global TV coverage of the Rio Carnival 2015 Samba School Parade Competitions so Paul Hodge’s HD video coverage of the complete performances of the 27 Rio samba schools’ is “one of a kind” to the world. 2) To capture the 27 Rio samba schools’ performances, Paul had to overcome incredible filming/editing challenges. The 27 samba schools performed over a consecutive four-night period from around 9:00 pm to around 5:00 am the morning of the next day. This schedule required Paul to work four “all-nighters” in a row from about 6:00 pm to about 6:00 am the next morning after which Paul worked about five hours film editing. This grueling schedule left Paul with only about 5 hours of sleep per day for four consecutive days. On top of this, filming conditions at Rio’s Sambadromo were not good. Throughout the four-night period, the heat was punishing with temperatures ranging from 86-94 degrees. On top of this, there was intermittent rain throughout the four nights of shooting with a massive rain storm on Sunday, February 15, 2015, the first night of the First League Samba Schools’ competitions for the Rio Carnival 2015 Championship; and 3) Paul's amazing HD videos of Carnival's famed Samba School Parade Competitions were taken by Paul from the vantage point of highly prized, very expensive Sambadromo ground level, front row box seats which literally immerse you in the uplifting energy generated from the wonderful music, dance and joyful celebrations! You are placed so close to the performers that you will feel that you are actually participating! In addition to being the first ever High Definition (HD) Video Book published on YouTube with 12+ hours of edited, original video taken by Paul Hodge of Rio de Janeiro's "Rio Carnival 2015", Paul's video book is his third to cover Rio Carnival, his first was "Rio Carnival 2013". See Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZFiaDLIs1M and his second book was "Rio Carnival 2014". See Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpW89PMioyI. Paul's HD Video Book "Rio Carnival 2015" is intended to encourage you, the viewer, to "size the day" and venture out into our fantastic World to achieve your "bucket list" adventures.
