I had issues with updating and restoring my IPhone 6 and after 3 hours of trying I found that it kept failing i CHANGED THE WIRE THAT I WAS USING TO THE ORIGINAL WIRE THAT THE IPHONE 6 CAME WITH AND IT STARTED WORKING!!!!! make sure you're using an original Apple Wire!
