This series of stories from 2012, shows how WJW-TV traced the rise of opiate and heroin abuse in Ohio from it's roots in the southern portion of the state north to Cleveland and it's surrounding communities. It also shows, in it's third story, how the station started searching for alternatives to opiate abuse early in it's coverage
