The troublesome 1084ST, part 1

Commodore was a strange breed of company, that as best can be described as having an opportunistic strategy, and often sourced it’s parts and also peripherals as printers and monitors from the vendor of the day. The result of this is that 30 years later we are struggling with a jungle of different schematics, part numbers and often hard to find parts. This video is part of a 2 or 3 part series where I struggle to resurrect a Commodore 1084ST monitor that apars to be totally dead. This is one of the more obscure of the Amiga monitors, and is produced by the company Likom and not Philips and Daewoo as all the other variants of the 1084 monitor. In part 1 we do some fact finding, and some initial troubleshooting. #1084 #Amiga #Commodore
