Subaru Outback 2005 H6 3.0L engine startup with Optima Red Top battery in winter

Had problems with starting my Subaru Outback 05 H6 engine after cold nights (-10 - -20C) with Bosch S4 battery, so upgraded to Optima Red Top. First try after cold (but not as cold as I expected) night. Odometer indicator doesn't fade out when engine starts - not like it was with Bosch S4 battery.
