Microsoft Project Latte | Run Android Apps on Windows 10 without Emulator
The Project latte will allow android apps to run on Windows 10 with little to no coding. It will require coders to packaging them as MSIX and submit them to the Microsoft Store. It will use the WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) to bring the android apps to Windows 10. Android is based on Linux so coders will not have to do many changes in the code to run it on Windows. Although there is one problem which is Google Play Services, which is only available for Android and Chrome OS. Many Android apps use this API to complete so many tasks and Microsoft just can not use this API for their project. So Either developer has to remove the dependency on Google Play services or maybe Google will allow Microsoft in the future to use Google Play Service for this. Project Latte is expected to release in the Fall 2021 Windows Update.
