Drydocking (Problem 3) - Advanced ship stability calculations

Using an example, this video discusses an example of calculations involved in drydocking (or similar situations) of a ship. The concept of "P" (upward thrust), virtual loss of GM, and residual displacement and GM is discussed. The use of hydrostatic tables is also shown. Diagrams aid in understanding of the topic.
