Best USB-C Hub for MacBook Pro – Yinboti USB SD Card and HDMI Adapter Dongle for MacBook Yinboti USB-C Hub (Space Grey): http://amzn.to/2HPRZbi Yinboti USB-C Hub (Silver): http://amzn.to/2FVWrEM Western Digital My Passport 4TB: http://amzn.to/2FXPHGH HDMI Cables (3-Pack): http://amzn.to/2FUQo3f Ok so there’s currently a problem with the new MacBook Pro that’s really bugging me! It only has USB-C ports and nothing else! But the new Yinboti USB-C hub will let you use all your legacy devices on the new MacBook Pro just like on the older models! This is a must-have accessory if you own this laptop. You’ll definitely need this if you still have to use USB devices such as external hard drives, thumb drives, or connecting to an external monitor or even using SD memory cards. The hub has 2 USB-C plugs that fit into the side of the MacBook. When connected, it perfectly matches the Space Gray surface of the laptop and it has a large anti-slip pad on the bottom. It has one HDMI port if you want to use an external monitor or TV. On my MacBook, the external monitor is automatically detected but if yours doesn’t, you might have to make some adjustments in the System Settings. External USB hard drives or USB sticks will work using the hub also. This is a USB 3 Western Digital drive and the hub can take advantage of the higher speeds with it’s USB 3 ports. The external drive pops right up on the desktop in a few seconds and is ready for use. And transferring pictures and other files is easy with the SD card slots on the bottom. What I really like is that the Yinboti hub includes separate slots for regular size and micro SD cards. The package also includes a handy carrying case to protect the hub from getting damaged. If you’ve got a new MacBook Pro that only has USB-C ports, then the Yinboti hub is definitely something you’ll need. It kinda sucks that this is needed now but USB-C is the way Apple is going with their products and there’s no going back. So if you’re using any legacy USB devices or need to connect your MacBook to an external monitor, this is a great hub for those needs!
