Panasonic LX100 4K sample file
Hunt's Photo Video in Melrose was having a Photo Video show today which started yesterday and tomorrow will be the last day. Basically 3 separate days. Here's that place. http://www.huntsphotoandvideo.com/ I decided to briefly play with the Panasonic LX100 and here's a small sample. The shutter was probably at 60, Aperture was at f/1.7 and the ISO was at 400. I think the focusing was on auto and keep in mind that it can be difficult for the camera to auto focus when you have the Aperture set to f/1.7. As for the white balance, etc, I have no clue what it was set to. Again, I only used the camera briefly at the show and didn't completely familiarize myself with it. The GH4 has it's benefits in that you can change out lenses, it has the ability to output 10 bit 422 and offers a mic input but it's not anywhere near as small as the LX100. Both has their pluses and minuses if trying to choose between the two. I'll probably get back their in a few days to briefly try out the Panasonic X1000 and get a 2160/60p sample out of it. The X1000 is sort of a 4k version of my AC90 camcorder. Stay tuned for that. 2160 / 24p
