Exploring Bridgeport, Bodie, Chemung Mine, Masonic Mountain and Masonic Mine in California.
This an amazing place to go and explore. Bridgeport California is a quaint little town located on highway 395 in Mono County. There are tons of trails that range from dirt roads to single track trails. I use the Gaia ap paired to a Garmin Bluetooth GPS antenna on my iPad to navigate my 2021 Yamaha Wolverine X2 XTR. We usually camp when we go but there are a few hotels and lodges in Bridgeport as well. This trip was specifically planned by my son in law Derek and I because my grandson saw the last video I posted and was amazed that 1) I made a YouTube video and 2) that I know where ghost towns and gold mines are. Grandpa’s are cool like that ?. This isn’t an extreme off-road trip. There are no shots of Derek shredding a super cross track on his mororcycle. The pictures can’t even come close to capturing the beauty of the high desert. Hopefully we created lifelong memories that Greyson and Derek can share with their friends and family in the future.
