Burnout Paradise Vanity Pack
Update September 6, 2013: Vanity Pack 2.0.0 Beta 8 has been released. It contains a slew of fixes, 10 BSI challenges, plus improved Steam and Origin support. Beta 6 and beta 7 will be made obsolete in the near future. NOTE: This new version works fine for most players but there have been a few reports of increased instability since beta 6. Most noteworthy: •There are crashes during online races in certain situations. The root cause has been not yet been identified. •A few players can't go online at all without the game crashing. This could likely be due to the experimental country flags feature. A different implementation of the country flags will be attempted soon for another beta version. •One player has reported his vehicle never spawning when going online. This could, again, be due to the experimental country flags feature, see above. Delete the logs if you'd like. Then, install beta 8 (to that same directory, preferrably). If you experience crashes of the Steam game when entering online freeburn, try running Vanity Pack with the extra parameter --no-flags If Vanity Pack doesn't even start up, make sure the paths to Vanity Pack and to the savegame contains no special characters like å or ü or Greek or Russian characters. If you encounter other issues, please check the README and FAQ files first for a possible solution. If the issue persists, please check the Burnout Hints forums for possible answers.
