Assassin's Creed Syndicate On MacBook
Hi, today we’ll see how well the MacBook can handle Assassins Creed Syndicate. I started testing the game at 2560 x 1600 Ultra High and it was just too much for the computer to handle. I was getting in the single digits and that was just not going to work. I then dropped down to 1920 x 1200 and set it to Ultra High. I was thinking cool, this a whole lot better but then I realized that when I used this setting, the ram usage was in the RED, meaning that performance will suffer greatly. I was definitely using more VRAM than was available. The next step was to only use Very High, Medium and Low to stay within good memory usage. You will see that I did run the game with the Ultra High detail just to see how well it would go. It was terrible. Getting somewhere in the teens was playable but to be realistic, no one plays like this. So it had to go. I ended up with the rest of the video with the settings I had mentioned earlier which produced results. 1680 x 1050 is the sweet spot for this game clocking in around 45 FPS. Going any lower produced better results at very little cost of on screen detail. At the end of the video I chose a setting that the computer recommended but I do not agree with the suggestion. Ill let you check it and you decide. I personally think its a slap in the face but o’well, until the next video.
