Get To The Chopper... No Wait! | Half Life 1 | Part 5 | Half Life Gameplay
Hello! Welcome to part 5 of a brand new Let's play of Half Life 1. This video contains gameplay from the original Half Life game from 1998. Part 5 will see us reach the surface following the Black Mesa Incident. It doesn't exactly go according to plan as we are swarmed by troops. As the game was released in 1998, the graphics are a little dated and the movement controls take a bit of getting used to. In this Lets Play of Half Life, I will be exploring the game for the first time as i prepare to get my hands on a copy of Half Life Alyx (the first installment of Half Life in VR and the VR equipment to play it). Half Life is an FPS from 1998 and spawned a series of successful sequels. It is rated 96 on Metacritic; tied for the highest rated PC game of all time. It shares this rating with Grand Theft Auto V, but also (ironically) Half Life 2 and the Orange Box - a compilation of Valve games including both Half Life and Half Life 2. With the Coronavirus lockdown in place in New Zealand, i plan to release several episodes of this series in quick succession. I hope everyone is doing OK and surviving the lockdown.
