Reviewing the Creality Smart Kit

I just purchased the Creality Smart Kit to monitor and film my 3D prints. Is it worth it, and what are the pros and cons of using this instead of other print monitoring systems? G Code: M75; Start the print job timer. G code can be put anywhere as long as it is before the print starts to start the timer.
