Replicating A Vintage Banister Handrail

A new client wished to install a vintage newel post that he had purchased for the stairway of his early 1900s house. However, the newel post only came with a short section of the original railing or banister. There was no budget for a custom millwork shop, so I set about replicating the railing by hand in my own shop using inexpensive wood. This is a great example of what you can do in a small shop with some forethought and careful work. A previous video with similar subject matter is here: https://youtu.be/2Zc_7LDO5wI
