2015 Infiniti Q50 - Outside Mirror Adjustments
"When the ignition switch is in the ACC or ON Position, the outside mirrors can be adjusted by remote control. The Outside Mirror Control Switch is located on the arm rest. To begin, move the small switch to the left or right, depending on which side you want to adjust. Using the larger switch, you can then move each mirror to the desired position. Once the mirrors are in place, return the smaller switch to the center position to avoid accidently changing the mirror positions. If your vehicle is equipped with the reverse tilt-down feature, the outside mirror surfaces will turn downward to provide better rear visibility close to the vehicle. To use this feature, place the ignition switch in the ON position and move the shift lever to Reverse. Move the smaller mirror control switch to the left or right and both mirrors will turn downward. The mirror surface will return to its original position when any of the following has occurred: ● The shift lever is moved to any position other than Reverse, ● The outside mirror control switch is set to the center position, or ● The ignition switch is placed in the OFF position. The outside mirrors along with the rear window glass can be heated to defrost, defog, or de-ice for improved visibility. Once the engine is started, push the rear window defroster switch. The indicator light on the button illuminates. The rear window defroster automatically turns off after a period of time. The rear window defroster can be turned off manually by pushing the defroster switch a second time. To fold the outside mirrors, push the mirror toward the rear of the vehicle. To unfold the outside mirrors, pull the mirror toward the front of the vehicle. Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations and additional operating information. "
