New York Passage Exhibition; Münster, 2.8.1986
My band, The Six Micks was asked to perform on the final gig of the New York Passage Exhibition in August 1986. As we wanted to give our artist friends and her great professor – Norbert Nowotsch – a real live music experience we asked many friends to join in, e.g. Sunny Domestosz, R.A.F.Gier, The Potpourri Boys, Änixväx and others. The initial gig to start the 3 week exhibition was performed by Sid Bee Game. A special Thank You to Norbert Nowotsch for providing me with the original video material. And Volker Klatt for his gorgeous moderating talents. The whole concert was not announced officially and we had a quite unfriendly visit from the local police authorities in the afternoon before the show. But we could do an arrangement with them promising the whole show would end before midnight without trouble. And all our Punk, Psychobilly and Rock'n'Roll friends did us the great favour to „behave“ for one evening ;–). Therefore all bands almost shared the same equipment and could perform only 2-3 songs. All in all a great night!
