Let's Play Caesar III (1998) - Episode 04
Caesar III was the first city builder by Impressions make that I played, and its many successors have given me a great many hours of entertainment. This is also the reason I'm skipping the first two iterations of the series; I'm simply too unfamiliar with them (save for the 'plebs are needed' meme). In this playthrough, we'll begin a new career and go through the (peaceful) campaigns. How far we go will depend on interest - yours and mine alike. Caesar III has one fatal weakness - unlike its successors, it has no sure-fire method to control the walkers, and thus getting stable service access to your citizens is a bit of a challenge. Intersections must be avoided at all costs, which is tricky. This might lead to some trouble in completing certain maps; we'll see how things go.
