Josef Gauby - Lyrisches Klavierstück, Op.16/5
So, I was walking around in the city and noticed this sign which you can see in the beginning of the video. Normally I don't read these signs, but it was written on it: "composer". So I immediately checked the imslp (hehe) and there is exactly one piece on the page: this one. I thought it would be a good idea to play and record it; now I am officially acquinted with the culture of the city in which I live (even in a pleasant way, how cool!) :)) Apart from the year of death and birth which can be sign on the street sign, not much else is easily found about this austrian composer. Well, it also says "composer, pedagogue, chamber music, vocal music, songs", if this is of relevance for anyone here... The pieces were published 1881.
