Skyblivion And Paid Mods
Skyblivion has always been a labor of love, NOT profits. After getting multiple messages from people asking if the Creation Club would mean Skyblivion would become a paid mod I felt it was necessary to let you know what our stance is on this subject. I hope this takes away any fears of us locking the project behind a paywall. How do I feel personally about the paid mods returing? I have my concerns about the so called Creation Club but I also want to be optimistic as I think even with all the negative responses so far its too early to tell what is going to come out of it. What we do know is that its not as big a mess as the paid mods fiasco from 2015 and this time around there seems to be adequate quality control. On top of this only high quality mods and ideas will even be considered to be put up on this exclusive modding platform but time will tell how well this system is really going to work. I for one will fully support any modder who decides to work with bethesda and try to make a small sum in return for their hard work and I hope the community can understand peoples reasoning and not blindly attack the individuals for trying something new.
