MAX PAYNE 3, PART 3 (CH. 11-14, ENDING) | 4K ON PC | NO COMMENTARY | HARD DIFFICULTY
Max Payne 3 is a 2012 game from Rockstar and the finale to the trilogy starring the hard-boiled character first created by Sam Lake and Remedy in 2001. It's one of my favorites (though it's more "Man on Fire" neo-noir than the cold, darker, "Norse-inspired" noir feel of the first two games) and I've enjoyed revisiting it for the first time in years, this time on PC. May go and do a Hardcore or Old School playthrough sometime, too...who knows? Max is a shell of the former cop he used to be (after the events of the previous games that saw the deaths of his family, allies, and many enemies), being lured into acting as a bodyguard by a wealthy family from Sao Paolo, Brazil...but, of course, there's treachery and so much pain waiting for him that he'll be forced to shoot his way out.
