The most incredible aspect of Apple silicon is how fast it is! Even my more moderately-equipped MacBook Air M1 grossly Trumped the performance of my somewhat loaded MacBook Pro 16-inch Core i9 with 32GB RAM. I've found that 8GB RAM in an Apple silicon Mac feels like 16GB or more in an Intel Mac. Also, the M1 chips runs super cool and is super energy-efficient!
