Sonex Build Part 35 - Did Sonex Ship The Wrong Fuselage With My Quick Build Kit
This may very well be my biggest obstacle to date with this project. There is a very strong chance that Sonex shipped Steve a taildragger fuselage with the tri-gear quick build kit that he ordered back in 2017 and there was absolutely no way to be aware of the mistake until I drilled out the temporary rivets that held in the seat pan just yesterday in 2022. I have pictures and questions in to Kerry to see what he has to say but this could honestly change everything. I really am not interested in a taildragger at this stage in my journey. Not to mention I have the main gear and engine mount for a tri-gear plane that may not work with the fuselage that I have here. I sure hope that they have a reasonable solution to this problem for me. #SonexAircraft #Homebuilt #GeneralAviation
