Ernst Kaps grand piano from 1906 played by Bert van den Brink

This grand piano came to the Netherlands in a miserable state and was revised by the great piano technician Walter Vergeer. It is quite remarkable how this instrument still has a great potential with a wide variety in colours. It has been quite amazing what Ernst Kaps has contributed to the evolution of the piano. In this short performance I just improvise inspired by the beautiful resonance of the instrument and I finish with a quote of my composition "leaving".
