1991 Defender 90 200TDi | Country Road Drive, Walk Around & Cold Start
Offered for sale by Performance Auto Gallery LLC This 1991 Land Rover Defender 90 is a left-hand-drive European example that was refurbished in Spain during 2022, and was imported into the US, in April 2023. The vehicle has a clean Maryland title and is sold with build invoices. The Defender was finished in custom Red with a Narvick Black rooftop, and a black interior. The truck is powered by a 2.5-liter turbodiesel 200Tdi in-line four-cylinder mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Further equipment includes Masai side steps, Beadlock wheels with Yokohama tires, a tow hitch and rear side step, a rooftop luggage carrier, front bucket seats and all around LED lights. The Defender was taken off its frame for a thorough restoration of its body, interior and mechanical parts. The original Land Rover red exterior was repainted in a brilliant custom red. Inside the fully repainted interior, leather Bucket Seats were mounted on top of new black carpet, under a re-lined black headliner, and behind wood steering wheel. New doors, door panels, cubby box, and interior parts were fitted to give this vehicle a factory-new fit, look and smell. The 200Tdi engine was taken out of the engine bay to be inspected, cleaned, and refitted with all new hoses, belts, cables, and gaskets. A new clutch assembly was installed and the heater radiator was replaced. The suspension was upgraded with a 2-inch lift kit from Terra Firma shocks and springs. Brake disks and pads, drums and shoes were replaced. A new windshield and rear side windows were installed.
