The Ultimate Bocas del Toro Travel Guide: The best of Bocas in 3 Days | Episode 3
The top things to do in Bocas Del Toro in 3 days. I don't think we could of possibility fit anything more into our schedule. We arrive after taking the bus from Panama City to Bocas del Toro so if you're curious on how to get to Bocas del Toro for a cheap price be sure to check out our last video - Panama City to Bocas del Toro by bus. How it works and what to expect. In this video we arrived early in the morning and were lucky enough to check in early at our hotel Los Balcones Over the Sea on Carenero Island (which is a $1 water taxi away from Bocas del Toro). I would highly recommend staying here. The room were large, clean and they were in the process of remodeling the entire hotel while we were there. We ended up visiting the public beach on Carenero Island which was actually pretty nice and very relaxing. If you're staying on Carenero Island its nice to know you don't have to go far to find a quiet place to lay on the beach. Before it got dark we took a private water taxi to Red Frog Beach. At the time it cost us $8 per person one way and $5 to access the beach. I'll let the video speak for how it looked. Finally we had dinner at Bibi's on the beach. It's by far the best place to in Bocas del Toro. If you find yourself on Carenero Island be sure to check this place out. The food was fresh, the views were spectacular and the drink special were good. On our second day we took a group guided tour. There are tons of places offering this in Bocas town and they were all priced between $25 to $30 per person. It's a great way to see the surrounding islands for a good price. We spent two hours dolphin watching, a hour snorkeling and at least two our on Zapatilla Island. Wow Zapatilla was absolutely gorgeous. I don't think I can show you just how beautiful the two Zapatilla Islands are.. We finished the tour with a visit boating around to sloth island and starfish island. On our final day we mostly spent our time checking out the town of bocas. It's pretty small so we decide to visit on of the two main beaches on the main island of Bocas Del Toro. Although we heard Starfish beach was the more beautiful one we decided to check out Playa Bluffs. Again we weren't disappoint.. Thanks for reading.. like the video and be sure to subscribe.
