Short | Cetus X vs Meteor65 Pro | Size comparison close up (8K cam)
Drones in this video: * BETAFPV Meteor65 Pro (2022, ELRS, Betaflight Version) ( Specs: 19500KV motors, 3-blade D35, 65 mm prop-to-prop in diagonal wheelbase, ...) * BETAFPV Cetus X (ELRS, Betaflight Version). ( Specs: 1100KV motors, 4-blade D45, 95 mm prop-to-prop in diagonal wheelbase, ...) Carbon frames in this video: * Twiglet (for 2,5" props) * Twiglet Mini (for 2,0" props). !!! Note !!! Actually the 14mm Runcam Nano4 and VTX board of the Cetux X is not compatible with this orange canopy (BETAFPV Canopy for Micro Camera). So I need to search for another canopy that's good for the cam and for the frame. I ordered the Happymodel Crux3 Canopy hope it will fit... I think it is possible to convert it as shown in the video. However, for both you should use 2-blade propellers that do not have too strong a pitch.... I must say that I am currently leaning more in the direction of converting the parts from the Cetus X to the 2.0" instead of the 2.5" carbon frame. This way I would have a 3-blade 2.0" 2S "rocket" quad... With the 2.5" I'll make a new quad 3-4S HD Digital self-build in the future... It would be possible that the 2 frames are a bit too big for both quads? I'm sure I need to reduce the blade number if i go to larger props and keep the same KV and ampere limits... For example I go from 4-blade D45 to 3-blade D63 or even a 2-blade D63 with the Cetus X. BETAFPV recomands up to 2-blase D75 but i'm not sure if it is for 11000KV or 8000KV, they mixed the specs on their website... I'm actually not sure if I can convert the Cetus X to 2,5" because the 11000 KV motors are most time used on a 2,0" frame... 2,5" toothpicks most time are using 8000 KV Motors... So another possibility would be to convert all parts of the Cetus X to the 2.0" frame. The 2.0" frame has a distance of about 85 mm (prop to prop). And the Meteor85 uses roughly the same parts as the Cetus X. And then buy parts for a new 2.5" homemade 3-4S twiglet quad...
