Towards Governance in a Blockchain Consortium - Andreas Hermann, University of Bundeswehr Munich
Towards Governance in a Blockchain Consortium - Andreas Hermann, University of Bundeswehr Munich The German-Austrian research project "NutriSafe" aims to investigate the resilience of supply networks in food production and logistics using distributed ledger technology (DLT) based on Hyperledger Fabric. In addition to new business models with DLT, the use of a secure DLT with interfaces to enterprise information systems are also investigated. Special attention is given to the use of DLT in small and medium sized enterprises (SME). Governance is a major challenge in the areas of data, participation, technology, transactions and smart contracts for the success of the network due to the distributed structure of the DLT. All results and findings will be made available to the community as open source in the form of a toolkit. ---- Hyperledger – Open Source Blockchain Technologies Hyperledger is an open source community focused on developing a suite of stable frameworks, tools and libraries for enterprise-grade blockchain deployments. It serves as a neutral home for various distributed ledger frameworks including Hyperledger Besu, Fabric, Sawtooth, Indy, as well as tools like Hyperledger Avalon, Cactus and libraries like Hyperledger Aries, Ursa.
