Exploring Kemptville Ontario Canada- Downtown Dining Shopping, Agroforestry Centre, Sugar Shack
Welcome to my Channel -- Walking Attractions https://www.youtube.com/c/WalkingAttractions In April, 2022, I had the opportunity to attend the Maple Weekend Pancake Breakfast event at the Kemptville Campus - Agroforestry Centre, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The Kemptville Campus is an 18-acre operating sugarbush, and it was the perfect venue for this event. Upon arriving at the Kemptville Campus, we were greeted with the sweet aroma of maple syrup and the sounds of live music. We started our day by hiking on the forest trail, and we were surprised to spot a snake on our way. The forest trail was well-maintained and provided us with a great opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the area. After our hike, we headed to the pancake breakfast area, and I must say, the pancakes were absolutely delicious! They were served with warm maple syrup, and it was evident that the syrup was of the highest quality. The taffy pulls were also a hit among the visitors, and it was fun to see how maple syrup was transformed into this delicious treat. Before the event, we also had the chance to explore downtown Kemptville. The town is located on Kemptville Creek, a branch of the Rideau River, and it was a lovely place to take a stroll. The main streets, Rideau, Prescott, Clothier, and Van Buren, were compact and easy to navigate. It was fascinating to learn that the town of Kemptville merged with the townships of Oxford-on-Rideau and South Gower to form the new township of North Grenville in 1998. In summary, the Maple Weekend Pancake Breakfast event at the Kemptville Campus - Agroforestry Centre was a wonderful experience. The combination of hiking in the forest, enjoying delicious pancakes and taffy, and exploring downtown Kemptville made for an enjoyable day trip. If you have the chance to attend this event in the future, I highly recommend it! Thank you for taking time to stroll with me, please feel free to Like & Subscribe and leave your comments!
