Removing and replacing shifter knob Jeep Patriot 2014
Handy Mandy here showing y'all how to replace a shifter knob for your Jeep. This works for Patriot and Compass. I also saw a video for a Dodge Charger that has the same steps. It was a little difficult removing the knob and I actually had already taken it off and put it back on to film. I read that someone else was having problems with the 2014 model as well so not sure if they got more aggressive with manufacturing but I just straddled my center console and gave a hard tug. It came off with no damage! You can also try using a rubber flat head as well to pry between the cap and shifter knob if you are worried about damage but my new knob came with the bottom cap piece so I wasn't using anything that might have been damaged in the process. Also the new knob just slides right on and give it a pound with your fist to get it on tight!😉 Thanks for watching y'all! Give me a thumbs up if it helped!!👍😘
