Destiny 2 - Hunter Flat Ground Strand Skate (Easiest Flat Skate, No Macro)
Howdy Guardians, I recently learned what makes Strands flat skates different from Well and Shatters. Well and Shatter do the same combo, 1. Jump 2. Light Attack 3. Jump 4. Dive/Super 5. Jump. However, Strand doesnt care about getting that middle jump input. So, on Strand Hunter, to Flat skate the combo is only 1. Jump 2. Light Attack 3. Wait till the sword lunge is about to end and Eager deaccelerates, right before activating Dive. The window is pretty generous on higher frame rates, getting much more specific the lower you go, however it still remains possible. Its my personal opinion this method of Flat skating is actually the easiest, seeing as it needs 1 less input and once you can consistently do the sword swipe immediately after getting off the ground the ONLY input is Dive. You could most likely start looking for a specific part in the sword swipe animation and aim for that when activating dive.
