Golden VGM #398 - Hotline Miami ~ Knock Knock
- SUGGESTED BY: Klagmar http://www.youtube.com/user/Klagmar - DEVELOPED BY: Dennaton Games - PUBLISHED BY: Devolver Digital - DESIGNED BY: Jonatan Söderström / Dennis Wedin - COMPOSED BY: Scattle - PLATFORM/S: PC / PlayStation Vita / PlayStation Network / OS X / Linux - GENRE: Action - WHERE MUSIC PLAYS: [LEVEL] - Chapter 13: Assault [LEVEL] - Chapter 18: Prank Call - DESCRIPTION: Like Monaco, I did not know anything about Hotline Miami before being suggested a track from it. Now that I've taken a look at it, I can see why it's so popular. It's not the kind of thing that I would play, but I believe people when they say this is a very addictive game. Getting killed in one hit, yet having endless lives is a trend in these indie games, and it seems to work very well in making the player want more and more. The soundtrack is starting to grow on me too. Funky techno beats that are so catchy, yet also feel atmospheric. This game kinda looks like what would happen if Anamanaguchi made Kane and Lynch.
