Respawn has already mapped out the new Legends in Apex as far as season 12, which is currently slated for a release some time in 2022. Chad Grenier, the Game Director for Apex Legends confirmed this in a recent podcast about the future of the game. To quote Chad, "At this point, we know our Season 9, 10, 11, and 12 Legends. We always have a handful that are in various phases. There's a bunch in prototype; they don't have models, they don't have personalities. They just have their ability set." With the new legends being confirmed and locked in through Season 12, some aspects are still in the early development stages. There are always potentials for things to change between now and the release. Again coming from Chad, he says "We need to make sure we give the writers enough time to write narratives and the artists enough time to build the character model and enough time to do a proper tease and season theme around that Legend. We usually know from about a year out" Also, there has been confirmation that Season 9 will have a bunch of Titanfall content. Ashley Reed, who is Apex's senior writer said the following: "What's going on in Titanfall is a war. Apex is what happens after the war, like what is life like in this place? We're trying to integrate Titanfall into that, because Titanfall is very much a part of the universe." There have already been a few parallels between the two games, such as weapons and the Leviathans. Chad Grenier confirms that Season 9 is going to see so much Titanfall back into the game.
