[P1] 3-Player Quake 2... on PS1! Friday Hangouts - August 26, 2022
Time for more 90s FPS console shenanigans! This time, it's Quake 2 for PS1... but I got my hands on a Multi-Tap, so I got my cousin and friend to play with me for this. All things considered, this ran surprisingly well. You have to use a first party multitap; a third-party one won't accept inputs from slot A. So, the gameplay, aside from using L1 to shoot, actually is pretty good. The three of us had a surprising amount of fun, and I even lost a few games! Honestly, footage of 3+ player Quake 2 on PS1 is a rarity, so it's nice to add some more footage of the rarer parts of online FPSes to the mix. I really want to do this again, but with four players!
