Gran Turismo® 7 - McLaren F1 GTR Race
Some gameplay with the F1 GTR that Hagerty gave out to customers. Thoughts on the car so far: +Definitely one of the stronger GT3 cars. In stock form, you can easily hit 200 MPH just by reducing the downforce levels. You can also add a turbo to easily push its PP past 790, making it great for WTC 800 races. +The exhaust note is fantastic. I also really like the BOV for the turbo, even if the IRL car obviously didn't have one. -As a midship it's got some pretty severe lift off oversteer. You can see at at the Dogleg (turn 4) I take it pretty wide since you have to keep it at at least 30% throttle to prevent it from sliding during corners. -It's also got a tendency to oversteer very harshly when cornering in 1st and 2nd gear (and maybe 3rd if your tires are really cooked). Of course, the car compensates for this with having an absurd amount of power. Adding the high RPM turbo boosts the power to 789 HP, which is insane for Gr.3 Overall, it's a really fun car. Definitely a nice little treat for having premium car insurance lol
