dell inspiron 1720 screen problem
dell inspiron 1720 screen problem. This is my Dell, bought in Feb 2007. When I booted up yesterday, Nov 1, 2011, the screen looked more or less like this. It has changed a little since yesterday. I'm not sure what is going on. UPDATE : This is weird. The problem is slowly going away, in a regressive way. There are just the dark areas left and they aren't even black anymore. The blue pixels are working and in some areas, the blue and red pixels are working. UPDATE 2 : nov 23, 2011. Most of the pixels are back. There is just the 2 top darkest areas remaining. UPDATE 3 : dec 27, 2011. All the pixels are back. The screen is ok now.
