Akai Pro Force MIDI Controlling Hardware Synths
From Syndrive. On this video I will try to demonstrate Akai Force's fantastic MIDI controlling capabilities using external hardware. Force is running firmware 3.1.3. all audio is coming via Discrete audio interface connected to Force directly. All MIDI is handled via MIDI cables via MOTU MIDI Express, though Force could also handle USB MIDI just fine. Force has a few quirks, but it still must be (also) one of the best MIDI controllers out there. As a sequencer though it resembles more of a predeterministic DAW than Toraiz Squid or Octatrack for example.
