PRESS NOTE NABBED 02 PERSONS - WHO ILLEGALLY SUPPLYING MEPHENTERMINE SULPHATE 30 MG/ML INJECTIONS-SEIZED 150 INJECTIONS. The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Drug inspector, Charminar Zone (FAC) and Chaderghat Police apprehended two persons who illegally supplying Mephentermine sulphate 30mg/ml injections without any valid licence and seized 150 Mephentermine sulphate 30mg/ml injections. Total worth of Rs. 1.5 Lakhs. Details of accused:- 1) Mohammed Shah Fahad, S/o Mohammed Haneef, age: 28 yrs, Occ: Pvt employee, R/o Al-Zubile Colony, Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad. 2) Shaik Abdul Owais S/o Shaik Abdul Nayeem, age: 20yrs, Occ: Pvt employee, R/o, Chanchalguda, Hyderabad at Kaladera, Chaderghat, Hyderabad. Modus Operandi:- The prime accused by name Shah Fahad is a resident of Chandrayanagutta. Earlier he worked as a Medical representative in a Pharma company. He gained enough knowledge in medical field and diverted his attention towards selling of Mephentermine Sulphate injection, as it has a huge demand in the market, this injection is used by the youth in order to increase the growth of body muscle. In this connection the prime accused along with his friend Shaik Abdul Owais hatched a plan to purchase the said injections to sell the same in the market, for which the accused came in contact with one Vikram who is a native of Delhi though Akshay Enterprises medical agency. Subsequently, the accused purchasing injections and collecting through courier services. Further, they are selling these injections in the market and to needy customers on huge profit illegally. The injections are initially used as emergency medicine during the time of surgeries and in the cardiac problems. Misuse of Mephentermine sulphate injection. In the market the injection is using in the Gyms, in athletic performance, in strength exercises by the youth to increase their endurance and to increase muscles in Gym workouts. NOTE: The over dosage of Mephentermine sulphate injection cause side effects like., cerebral Haemorrhage, Hypertension, increases blood pressure, Insomnia, drowsiness and anxiety etc,. The above accused along with seized injections was handed over to SHO Chaderghat P.S for further investigation. The above arrest was made by Sri. S.
