How to Attach a Socket 8Ci Scanner to your Phone with a Klip Case

This is Nate Holmquist from Book To The Future. For this video I’m going to show you how to attach a scanner to your phone so it’s really easy to scan. Paul asked on my Facebook group how to attach a scanner to the phone because as you can see, it doesn’t stick on there. You don’t really want to use two hands, it’s not very practical. I’m going to go ahead and show you what I do. The first thing is I get a cheap rubber case – a gel case – I got this on Amazon for about four fifty, shipped. It’s actually pretty nice so I shouldn’t say cheap, but inexpensive case anyway. What you do is you just put your phone in here and on the back of your case, this is called a Klip Case. It’s a socket universal Klip case. As you can see it’s got a two-way tape on the back. What you can do is you can tape it on the back of the case just like that. I already have one that’s finished – just like that. What you do is once you have that tape down there you can just pop in the scanner on the back just like that and you can start scanning. I’ll get the phone back in there and you got a scanner set up. I’ve tested this Socket 8Ci scanner on FBA Scan and Profit Bandit and they both worked very well. Normally what I do is when you’re not using it you can just take this back off and you have your phone with the case. Normally what I do is just keep this clipped on and I take the entire case off. I usually just keep this in my car – I keep it in my center console or in my glove box. That way I can just use my phone as a phone. Whenever I pass by a thrift store or a library sale or I just need to scan anything with a bar code, I’ll take this out, turn the scanner on, put my phone in here and you can put your favourite app, whatever it may be. This one is FBA Scan and start scanning anything with a bar code. That’s it for this video!
