Carrot Cheesecake Bars
Hello darling bakers! Bake along with me as I make this super yummy Carrot Cheesecake Bars. Impress your friends and family with this rich and moist cake. Here's what you'll need: FOR CHEESECAKE MIXTURE: 8 oz cream cheese (250g) softened 1/3 cup sugar (65g) 1 egg yolk 1/2 tsp vanilla FOR CARROT CAKE MIXTURE: 1/2 cup unsalted butter (110g) softened 1 tbsp oil (15ml) 2/3 cup sugar (130g) 1 large egg 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup all purpose flour (125g) 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup shredded carrot 1/4 cup walnut 1. Preheat oven at 170℃ or 340℉. 2. In a bowl, mix together softened cream cheese and sugar until creamy. 3. Add egg yolk and vanilla. Mix well. Set aside. 4. In another bowl, cream butter oil and sugar until light and fluffy. 5. Add egg and vanilla. Mix well. 6. Sift together flour, cinnamon powder, baking powder and salt. Mix just to combine, then add shredded carrot and coarsely chopped walnuts. Mix. 7. Line and grease an 8x8 inches pan. 8. Place carrot cake batter first then spread evenly, save about 1/4 of the batter for swirling later. 9. Then pour cheesecake batter. Spread evenly. 10. Then place the remaining batter on top, swirl using a chopstick as shown in the video. 11. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in a preheated oven. 12. Let it cool down. 13.
