10" Telefunken field coil speaker from 1938 with matching SIEMENS Klangfilm PSU Hello guys! Today i connected 2 x 10 " = 25 cm full range speakers from 1938 , made by Telefunken and SIEMENS , also found as " Klangfilm " speaker. These pair is in good working condition. I connected the two speaker with the vintage SIEMENS Power supply and tried lowest DC control first ( around 40 Volt ) . This was the smoothest result at 40-50 mA for both drivers. After that, i pushed up the DC voltage to 80 Volt , you can hear in the video that the result is higher volume . In step three i put the switch to "3" that means around 130 Volt DC. There no acoustic advantage. So i decided to use 40 Volt with " perfect result ", both drivers are running with 50 mA , see my test with ampere meter in the last minutes of the video.
