Canon C300 MKII 'Creative' Open Day
Filmed on location at Prokit's Chiswick based showroom on 11 August 2015 using the Canon 5D MK III. The day gave attendees the chance to get to grips with a number of new and noteworthy products including: the C300 Mark II, various Canon Cine Lenses, a Canon DP-V3010 30” 4K monitor, plus Da Vinci Resolve software. Canon's leading Product Specialist, Sam Smith, demonstrated the benefits of the camera, and shared a few of its secrets. Activities during the day also included live body painting by talented hair and make-up artist, and body painter Sarah Ashleigh, of London Body Painting Co. Giving attendees the chance to shoot a moving subject showcasing the C300 Mark II’s ability to capture skin tones and colours. Moreover, Nick Shaw from Antler Post was on hand to help filmmakers to get the most out of C-Log as he offered hourly workshops on working with Canon Log Gamma. Nick has been working in post-production for over 15 years, and some of his credits include Warner Brothers, Universal, Twentieth Century Fox, Eon Productions, RED, ARRI, Filmlight and The Foundry.
