[Black MIDI] Six-Way Tau Comparison
This is a collection of legit runs that I performed over the past year. These are the six fastest runs that I have recorded recently, and I decided to put them into a comparison. I own all of these PCs and recorded all of these videos. I originally planned to do a comparison with a bunch more CPUs, but sadly the motherboard that I was going to use ended up being broken. I just received a replacement, but this video was made before I got it and started recording runs with it. I also am waiting until I get my Ryzen 7 5800x which I plan to get sometime after Christmas to make a bigger comparison. This video took longer than I expected to make; I had to split every video to audio so that I could create an audio track that did not have audio clipping in the exported video. I had to line up every video and get the video coordinates correct. The crash times took about 2 hours to put together and line up frame-perfect with the video. Hopefully, this video is enjoyable by everyone who watches this even though tau is somewhat overused at this point lol. Oh well... Is there a MIDI comparison that you want to see? It is much easier to host comparisons when I record all of the PCs myself, but having a larger community comparison is more fun and provides more diversity in the video with many different specs. I am open to suggestions and would be interested in putting together a comparison with your PC runs, so let me know in the comments if you are interested, and which midi you would like to see. I have hosted comparisons before, but I only had like seven people submit, so it didn't turn out as well as I thought it would. I would want around at least 12 people to participate in this if I were to make it happen.
