Heroes in Health Awards - Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda awarded lifetime achievers award

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa, has pledged to support the health sector and also called for collaboration, innovation, and collective commitment to building healthier and a resilient nation. Tayebwa made the remarks during the Fourth edition of the Heroes in Health awards that were held under the theme, "Strategic Multi-sectoral Partnerships to Transform the Health System and Workforce.” The awards were organized by the Ministry of Health together with implementing partners to recognize exceptional individuals and organizations in health.
