Doom 3: RoE Virgin Longplay HD 60FPS - Part 2: Erebus Level 2: Erebus Dig SIte (Commentary)
The second part of my longplay through the expansion to the classic FPS. Hence the virgin longplay, I never got around to playing this when it released. The second level returns us to the facility environments where the game continues to show off its more aggressive style. Speaking of which, there's already a boss and it's one that feels a little bit more old school. Called the Helltime Hunt, it imparts the first artifact power in the game - a slow-mo ability called Helltime Power. Overall, the expansion already feels like a welcomed addition to the main game and hearkens back to more of a 90's-era feel' both in content and design approach. It feels more 'doom like' and some cheesy but Nerve Software also changed some of the game's dynamics to give a similar but still consistently different feel i.e. the abilities and gravity gun ripoff. It feels (John) Goodman. Shouldn't forget to mention the introduction of a new enemy - the Vulgar. Enjoy and check me out on Twitch!
